Attractions within the town area...
One of the places we recommend for visitors new to Alice Springs and Central Australia is our local information centre, where the helpful staff can answer your questions and provide you with a heap of information. They can even send out brochures and information on request.

The following local attractions are a 5 to 15 minutes walk from each other
and only 15-25 minute walk from the south end of Todd Mall:
— Exploration time: 1 to 2 hrs.
Live reptile displays. Try to make the morning or afternoon show. Provides a great insight into the reptiles of Central Australia.
— Exploration time: 1 hour or more.
Great displays and information about women’s role and contribution to Australia’s heritage and history.
— Exploration time: 45 minutes or more.
Shows at regular intervals. How we provide medical services to outback isolated areas. There is a cafe on site.
