Named after the resident kingfisher, this cozy two bedroom apartment overlooks the luxurious pool setting, an oasis on summer days. The open plan kitchen, dining and lounge are compact but spacious.
It looks out onto our ‘Buddha Pond’ and is next to the salt water solar heated swimming pool. With two queen beds, this apartment is a great option for two couples travelling together. There is everything you need - a well-equipped kitchen area with full size refrigerator and laundry facilities. There are dvd, cd, art books and magazines. Cotton bed linen, towels and cutlery, crockery, pots and pans are provided.

We are located close to town (minutes by car, a 20 minute leisurely walk. or you can use the local bus service). There are local shops just a few minutes walk away that include a supermarket, butcher, chemist and takeaway. Also within walking distance is the historical Telegraph Station.

Driving east, west, north or south, there is plenty to take the breath away from views of the famed Mount Sonder (a Larapinta Trek for those with the stamina), a drive north to see the famed Anmatjere Man, who now also has a wife and child (by local sculptor Mark Egan); south to Rainbow Valley, Chambers Pillar and the Henbury Meteorites Conservation Reserve; south-west to spectacular views along the Binns Track; east to Emily Gap to see the Caterpillar Dreaming; and locally historic Alice Springs Telegraph Station, Alice Springs Desert Park (below Mount Gillen) and the Araluen Cultural Precinct… just to name a few special things to do.
