Almost unaffected by Covid, our regular repeat government and corporate clients have come from the NT and it’s basically been business as usual. 

Coming to Vatu Sanctuary is like a home away from home for these special clients. We pride ourselves on this important continuing relationship when we receive bookings a year ahead allowing us to forward plan.

We service the apartments weekly and ensure that the pool is clean and serviced and that the grounds are well kept. On exit, there is a full extensive clean, including air conditioning filters etc.

Our wish is to find the right person(s) to continue running this boutique accommodation business (either whilst living there or not) with a smooth transition with the change of ownership. We will do everything to facilitate this, including training for the smooth running of the property along with training to manage the website, booking calendar and partnerships with booking agents.

The current owner chose to live in one of the apartments and in-between bookings would take over the whole property to have special functions for her art business.

There has been a consistent income, with a return last financial year of approximately $174,000. Operating costs were approximately $48,000 (not counting a wage as this is what you earn). So far for next year, we have good advance bookings for our repeat client in the NT.

For the new owner, there is plenty of room to grow and to expand existing bookings. Meanwhile, whilst you make it your own, everything is set up and ready to go. You can drop your bags, and with our initial assistance whilst you settle in, continue the running of this successful operation.
